WOW! Just saw Sigur Ros live

What an incredible show! They put on an amazing live performance. The music was so awe inspiring and flawlessly executed. It was cool that the crowd was totally silent during the songs to show respect to the music. That's rare these days. I hope every American Idol fan gets their CDs for the music education they so desperately need! If they come to your town go see them!

1. Arrgh, I was out of town the last time Sigur Ros was here.

They're with Nine Inch Nails and Queens of the Stone Age on the "Bands I'm Doomed To Never See Live" list.

Which sucks because I thought Takk... was one of the best albums of last year.

I've seen Nine Inch Nails 5 times live. The first time was a surprise club performance for the Downward Spiral CD release party. Got to hang out with them too.

5. Heh, Sigur Ros and Nine Inch Nails played the same week. At the Bowl.

And QOTSA opened for NIN.

And I was out in Denver, but I was on vacation getting drunk off my ass, so it was a trade-off.
