5. Oh yeah, I am a few years younger than you
and the Pixie haircut was still in fashion until I was in Elementary school! And yes, I had a pixie haircut.

I was one of six kids of an enlisted man and fashion NEVER came into play - what happened was I would scream like crazy when my mum was trying to comb the knots out of my hair; she got exasperated and cut it all off :o

and my mom said it was too expensive :cry: so they cut off my dreads, too.
