on edit: had the internal temp wrong, and the outside temp just went down another degree

7. Apparently the cold
weather is the HOT topic here on the lounge this morning. It's minus 15 here with a wind chill factor of minus 36.

Think I'm going to just stay in until this afternoon with the hopes of a heat wave. Maybe it'll get up all the way to zero. That would surely feel tropical

8. I remember back in '94, I was in WI in January with the folks,
the month that it never went above zero, and spent most of the time in the -10 to -20, and we were putting hot coals under the propane tanks to keep the gas flowing...

I flew back to NYC, and it was 32 degrees when I arrived and it really did feel warm. I remember I unbuttoned my coat waiting for the taxi, thinking "My God, this feels like a frickin' heat wave".
