Can't get the humidity up in the house. I'm so dry I feel crinkly inside and have to prime my mouth to spit. My eyelids will be permanently stuck to my eyeballs here pretty soon.

Freezer now full of soup. Almost out of bath oil. Humidifer tank sprang a leak so I trotted out the crock pot, put some holes in a piece of foil and used that instead of the lid.

Oh, steamed a mess o rice too. Hell, I won't have to cook for the rest of the month and it is STILL so dry in here I can't sleep. Thank goodness we turn the coal furnance off tomorrow night and switch over to the new heating system, which will not suck what litter moisture there is out of the house.

It's so dry, the dog brought his dog toys to his water bowl. Guess he figures they are all thristy too.
