1. That is hysterical!
Pitter-pat and Sniffles does that when morning doves land outside our window. And the squirrels at our last place drove Pitter-pat NUTS!

2. Cute!
Quark barks like a dog, short sharp little barks. The first few times he did it, we had *no* idea where the sound came from. All the other cats make the hunting noise, but none bark like Quark does. :)

3. It's called "charming squirrels."
Once had a cat who would do that when watching birds. She wouldn't voice it much; it came out as a quiet "eck-eck-eck."

6. Our cat Morrissey does that at birds
I'll say, "Birdies!" while he's looking at the birds at our back yard feeder, and he goes "eck eck eck eck - eck eck - eck eck eck!" It's exceedingly cute!

8. That's gotta be a house cat...
…'cause any other cat would know they can't catch anything making noises like that. ;)

10. Instead of meow..Marvin says "Bworrrrk"
He announces every shoulder-high jump before he does it (that's MY shoulder he's jumping on )

he sounds like a parrot..nto a cat.. and he does his "birdie-cackle" when he watches them through the greenhouse window
