Do You Kiss Your Pets?
I kiss our little Mitzi all the time... right on her little nose. She still gives me sweet puppy-kisses, so I might as well kiss her back. Is it okay to kiss a dog?

1. all the time! Merlin doesn't like it...
Jessie adores it. I can't help but kiss this face:

Although, we stop short of allowing her to kiss back. She's a litter box cleaner extraordinaire. I am constantly brushing her teeth. :puke:

However, rotties are an exception. Definitely kissable, but having an 8 inch dog tongue thrust down your throat is grounds for rethinking the whole kissing business......

I think about what a shock it must have been to her to have been the baby for 9 years and then have to share full-time.

I'm kind of relieved that she's not a licker.

But all I have to say is, "Give me a kiss, Reba!" and we happily rub noses.

Sometimes she's not in a kissing mood and she'll just turn away. Or she'll even sigh and give me the quickest nose and carry on with her business.

43. LOL
when mine was still young, he kept trying to climb in my ear.

One incident, which really sticks in my mind, was a time when there was a horrible flu going around. I had only recently gotten my birdie...2 or 3 months, at the most...and I let the cage door open and laid on the couch.

My birdie climbed down the cage (it was a standing one), walked across the living room, climbed onto the couch, up onto my head, and started preening the crown area of my head, and my eyebrows. It was so incredibly cute...like he was trying to comfort me.

I miss the little rascal.

49. Gwynneth

When I bought him, he was so young, they thought he was a female (as all young tiels look like). Baby birdie's looks and personality screamed "Gwynneth", so that's what (s)he became.

I got another a few years later...a beautiful pearl lutino...who they said was a male. A few years later, "Sebastian" layed an egg.

Tiels are great. So much personality, so sweet, and so hardy. I can't believe all the moves my little guy endured with me.

What's your little fella's name?

I'm looking to get a Senegal or Meyers this year. I love birdies! :bounce:
