1. Sounds like an awesome deal to me
provided the seller's reliable and there's a warranty you can count on.

3. Doesn't sound bad,
if you don't mind the smaller screen size. I think it's a nice deal. :hi:

5. I don't see where screen size is listed
if its its 12" then I might say no, but it depends on what you want to use it for too I guess

9. Personally, I'd spend a little more for a lot more laptop
I got a brand new sony w/ a 15.4 widescreen and a DVD burner for $850 at BestBuy a few weeks ago and I absolutely love it. I looked at used and refurbs but they were't much cheaper than a decent new one and there was a big loss in features and upgrade in risk.

10. the thing is the features are pretty good for $600
although 90 day warranty is essentially not a warranty...

12. Yeah, but $150 more for way more screen, a burner and twice the hard drive
is a good investment, in my eyes. It'll be longer before it's time to upgrade.

15. one of the other things I like about this one is it has XP Pro loaded
and it's a clean machine. I kinda hate new new cuz they come loaded with so much "free" (read AOL) crap that gives me fits trying to pare it down to lean and mean

but you still got a screaming deal! but I'm choking at the $650 this one's gonna cost (even though I really do need to upgrade my old P3)
