2. One of the messed up situations that gave me issues w/ food

When I was in second grade and my sister was in first grade, we came home to an empty house and were by ourselves. For some reason, we were always hungry then. We didn't have a lot of money so our mother didn't buy us snacks and got upset if we ate anything that would be used in meals. As a result, we ate small amounts of things that we didn't think would be missed: pickles, croutons, cereal, and uncooked pasta.
