Ten dollars for each of these. You can't beat that.

What's everyone's latest DVD purchase?

1. There's a little store not far called 'Dad's CD'...
They have a ton of used DVD's. Some are very hard to find and most are under 10 bucks. They average 7-9 dollars mostly. I've gotten a lot of movies from there.

Plus the owner and manager are diehard progressives :)

2. Kung Fu Hustle is awesome! Great bargain.
"Bride & Prejudice" never really did much for me, but I can see its appeal & I hope it becomes a cult favorite (if you've not seen it, Gurindar Chadha's "Bhaji on the Beach" is well worth tracking down).

I've recently bought "The Warriors" (Directors Cut), "Party Monster" (the Macauly Culkin comeback one) and "Hedwig and the Angry Inch" for under a fiver each, plus have imported "Sucker: The Vampire" from the US for an insanely cheap £4-50 (which included P&P).

4. I have so many VHS tapes sitting, unwatched.
Including the entire Twin Peaks TV series box set! (Recorded on ELP mode--eesh.)

I've learned my lesson. I actually watch the DVDs I've purchased so far! :)

5. I love raiding the DVD stalls at the flea market
I can get movies sometimes for 7 or 9 dollars, used. Video tape are going for 4 and 5 dollars used.

If you want a never opened DVD, it's more like 10 or 12 dollars.
