The closest that I've ever come to being thrown off a plane was a dispute that I had with the flight attendants over use of the first class head (6 rows ahead of my seat) when there were three service carts between me and the coach bathrooms at the rear of the plane and the plane had just leveled off after a two hour ground hold. I volunteered to explain in great detail why I couldn't wait another half hour for them to clear the aisle. They got very angry but moved the carts rather than let me use the golden throne room.
