At Home, Sometimes I'll Walk From One Room To Another...
... and when I get there, I've already forgotten WHY it was that I went there in the first place. So I have to go BACK to where I started in the hopes that I'll see SOMETHING that will remind me of whatever it was I intended to do in the first place.

It's maddening.

9. On the bright side...
... at least our short term memory is long enough to remember WHICH room we came from in the first place.

12. That's true!
Maybe I'll start carrying a clipboard, like football coaches do, when they mark down plays. :D

4. Welcome to my world
Yep, that's me. I thought at first it would be so cute to be befuddled like that...but now it's just getting tiresome.

11. Do you ever worry that once you get BACK to the room you started from...
... that you'll forget WHY you went back there... so you end up going "back" to where you went to (your original destination in the first place) to try and remind yourself that you had forgotten something the FIRST time around.

5. 'What a drag it is gettin' old'
Happens to me all the time.

I could really use "Alzheimer's for Dummies," but I'd probably start reading it 32 times.

14. I heard Bill Cosby talk about this phenomenon many years ago.
His theory was that your brain is in your butt. If you get up to go do something, and forget what it was you were going to do, all you have to do is go sit down and it will trigger your brain and you will remember what you were going to do. Therefore, he surmised, your brain must be in your butt.
