Well, I broke the fire/police scanner.
Pulled it right off the desk whilst it was charging, smashy smashy into many interesting pieces.

I'm apparently in the market for a new scanner. :eyes:

Since I have to buy a new one, maybe something interesting. Do they still make the kind I can listen to marriages and drug deals going bad and such? Or did I read that became a no-no, something about reasonable expectations of privacy when talking on the phone in your own home? :D

1. I have one that works on open channels you can have if you want it....
On this side of the mountains, everything is trunked together so without one of the nifty neato decoding ones, we can't listen to anything....

Well, we could when we lived in Colorado Springs because they hadn't upgraded, but who the hell wants to live there?
