18. Here's my non-custom bath

Taken after the renovation done a few months ago. The cracks in the walls were repaired, a new paint job was done, and I put up a new shower curtain, bath rug, pictures and accent towels. I'm a huge fan of the Southwest, so I decided to go with that as a theme. There wasn't a lot that I did overall, but it made a big difference (previously the bathroom was plain white).

I hadn't planned to use granite....it is quite expensive!

But our contractor had a granite guy who was very reasonable, and so we did granite in all the bathrooms, plus the kitchen...

I love the stuff! Blue eyed granite.....the blue spots sparkle when the sun or other light hits them....

About my trip. I'll be able to wander more freely in my car. I haven't figured it all out yet I'm trying to stick with my small convertible instead of my truck but I am tempted to go for the comfort.
In a PM to a good friend when this cross country trip first came about I said "I never thought I'd be frightened to travel inside my own country." He answered me with "I can't believe you're doing this. I'd be scared shitless." However that was about 3 wheeling. This is better on so many levels. I want to see the Painted Desert but I really was worried about sun poisoning and extreme heat.
