Great place, secluded beaches, no crowds, no golf courses, lots of water sports, kid friendly, easy to get to from Boston (nonstop to St. Thomas and a 20 minute boat trip to St. John).

I stayed at Caneel Bay. Where did you stay?

7. That's good!
You had me going for awhile there! I thought there might be a bad skin problem that I hadn't heard of.

2. Saint John, New Brunswick??
Very interesting. I haven't been there, but I would like to go there, plus Moncton and Halifax.

5. St. John, U.S. Virgin Islands
It's a small island east of St. Thomas in the Caribbean. It has a U.S. National Park on most of it. Laurence Rockefeller sailed there in the fifties and wanted it to be a place where Americans could go and enjoy like he did, so he bought it from Denmark and gave it to the U.S. government. The Park has campgrounds at reasonable rates. Caneel Bay is pretty upscale but not stuffy. Anyone can go to any of the beaches, which are gorgeous. Great snorkeling, windsurfing and scuba diving.
