3. I prefer to read things I can hold in my hands.......
I have a very comfortable reading couch with lamp and table next to me...

And a terrific ottoman to put my feet up on!

The computer malfunctions after it's been on awhile too....

So all in all, my serious reading gets done in my living room, not in my study.....

But whatever floats your boat!

I do think that having a cool website like that one is a terrific idea...

You don't have to buy the book in order to read it, and you don't have to wonder where you left it, either.....

So there are certainly advantages to doing it your way....

:hi:

12. I'm a bibliophile.
Not only do I like to read books, and hold books, I like to *buy* books.

Maybe one day I will curb that habit.

4. They have some Gogol,
but apparently not "The Nose"; however, it is available elsewhere online.

(Gogol is a master -- but forget about "Dead Souls".)

8. You can read something like Moby Dick....
Chapter by chapter....

It's much less daunting reading that way when it is snippet by snippet.

14. What a THRILL to find E.R. Burroughs science fiction series!!!!!! You just
made my month with this one... how excellent.

And for those who don't know, and few now do, Edgar Rice Burroughs invented Tarzan and literally invented science fiction, at the same time as Sir Arthur Conan Doyle was inventing Sherlock Holmes. Brilliant authors, both.
