Ugh! Bandwidth Thieves!
You don't realize the extent of bandwidth theft until you clean off your site for a redesign and then go back to the server log. A good 10-15% of my bandwidth was being outright stolen by people hotlinking to graphics on my server without permission.

1. Forgive them, for they know not what they do.
Before I learned not to copy link location, I did that
all of the time (mostly to post pics on DU).

Then I got a truly mean, threatening email from MahaBlog,
and I went to Webmonkey.com to learn about bandwidth.

Bandwidth is not something newbies know about.
Try to be kind when you catch them.
