Boy I hit Vinyl LP Jackpot today
Edited on Sat Feb-25-06 11:57 AM by LynneSin
I swear it's an addiction but if you see some of the stuff I pulled out of that store for just 50 cents each, you'd be hooked too.

Today's musical finds include:

Led Zeppelin IV (my copy is beat up and this one is in perfect condition
Steve Wonder: Songs in the Key of Life
Ray Charles: Modern Sounds of Country and Western (record in perfect shape but someone cut a square out of the back of the record cover)
Marvin Gaye: What's going on

I ended up buy about $20 worth of records and CDs (2 cds - $2 each)

Also in today's collection included Brian Eno, Supertramp, Doobie Brothers, Styx, Boston, Madonna, Elton John, ELP and Sandy Denny (she sung the female vocals on "Battle of Evermore on IV).

I suppose there are worse things I could be addicted to

2. sounds like a great haul
I really like Sandy Denny - you'll have to let us know what you think of the record.

Record shopping has always been a huge addiction for me too. :hi:

3. This place has a ton of Jazz albums in there untouched
Although I haven't seen any of the big names in there or I would have grabbed them

4. Sounds like a bunch of good stuff
We do a bunch of collecting too, but at the moment we're on a classic country/folk binge. Also, gypsy music, and African Dance for my daughter.
