It was about 1 p.m.

Built a largish Scotch & soda.
"I'm just gonna have this one and then cut myself off till around five-ish."

Well, that one was so good that I thought another "little" one wouldn't hurt.

I somehow managed to pace myself and not get knee-walking, nose-picking, Marine-crawling drunk by 3:30.
I am now listening to Prairie Home Companion and am relatively compos mentis.
I deem this to be a considerable achievement.
