Grateful and angry

Grateful to Peggy for being a friend when I needed one. She let me rant and rave and was sympathetic and offered good advise.

Angry at my mother. For god's sake!

See I got this letter saying I am a criminal, a fugitive from justice and there is an arrest warrant out for me. Finally found out what it was all about - a stupid misunderstanding about a traffic ticket.

My mother's response? Has he molested a child? Yeah right. I'd rather be fucked with a chainsaw than harm a child. Did he rape someone? Is she kidding? As a rape survivor (emphasis on survivor) there would be no possible way.


Sorry, kids. Just needed a little rant and wanted to tell everyone what a great friend Peggy is.

Also (if you will forgive a story of my own), last year my mom got a notice sent to her house saying I owed Humboldt County $1,400, I was about to have my licence suspended, and I had missed several court appearances. My mom was like "What did you DO?!?!?"

Turns out 2 years before I had been driving at high noon through Willow Creek with my lights on and with my mom in the passenger seat when a cop pulled me over and told me I had a headlight out. He gave me a fix-it ticket. I thanked him and went on my way.

The next day, I went to Kragen and got a new bulb and fixed it. My mom works with a chick who's dating a cop, and he signed it. My mom *said* she sent it in.

Apparently they never got it and it sat for a few years. I contested and won. :eyes:

That is what friends are for, IMHO......

After all, you have helped me so much lately......

It's only fair that now it's my turn to do the same for you.....

I am truly relieved now......And you are NO felon, nor are you a fugitive from justice!
