6. It's all art, some of better quality than others.
That animated Kinkaid thing makes me want to claw my eyes out, but it is art by strict definition.

7. All art
even the Kincaide, whom I don't care for. But I will admit that as hokey as it is, it evokes memories of walking to school in the rain.

How did you do that hammer??

and we had a hammer thread in here the other day so I took a quick picture of it for that thread. It was added here for fun.

14. I have learned three new things today, chromatic aberration , bvh
and abuse of photoshop filters. I had to google the first two and had to laugh at the last one. Thank you my friend for teaching me something new.

19. C.A. is also known as "purple fringing". Interestingly enough,
even the human eye has this problem. The difference is, God, Darwin, or Mandrake the Magician added a detail to the human eye; a yellow pigment in the fovea called the macula lutea filters the effect out.

Now you'd think the digicam designers could come up with something similar... but, no, a 8MP P&S camera with lots of noise artifacting for $300 is more important.

15. My dear OhioBlues.....
Everything depicted here is art.....

It doesn't matter whether we like or appreciate it....it is all still art!

Love your hammer! The animated woman is very good too...I can do without the Kincade, but it's still art. It is a bit more gritty than his stuff usually is.

Nice post!

16. Oh Peggy, you and Joan the two most dreamed of (that people
admit) people in the lounge. You have such a good heart (and a very frisky writing style  :loveya:). Thank you for your kind words. I was baiting a few people with that Kincade. I appreciate your kind response.

18. "Art" is a description, not an evaluation.
It's all art. Good art or bad art, that's what's debatable (except in the case of the Kinkade piece).
