Danced to Soul Rebel at Le Bon Temps and Rebirth Brass Band at Howlin Wolf - love love love both of them and years since I saw them last ... probably the highlight for me, along with first night of decadence on Bourbon Street during Mardi Gras festivities. Sampled some nice muffaletta and red beans and rice. Best wishes in your parade :)

Thursday and Friday nights I sure did. My sister was in Muses, so I saw that ... she was part of the "Krewe of the Rolling Elvi" ... except in the trailer with her pals -- all had blue hair, dolled up, tossing beads ... where were ya marching in that one?

30. I cannot describe with words how special today was for us.

Thousands danced around me and my band, from the rich and famous to the poorest locals. We sounded so damn good the people treated us like gods. :D

It was magic! The Brazilians here with us were dancing like maniacs!!! :D
