(sorry in advance, i am a nature freak)

they are so cute and smart! i recently went to a "prairie dog town" in texas and watched them for a few hours. they were all pretty chubby. the sentries jump up on all fours and let out a little "yelp!" noise that sounds kind of like a bird. i had a bunch of carrots and celery that i threw out to them. they would run out and grab a piece and run back. then their little chubby friends would chase them around trying to grab the celery/carrot stick. they are remarkable little guys.

There is a show on German TV that shows about the zoo in Leipzig. They also have prairie dogs and they came in new area and were so clever to escape and run around in the zoo. :rofl:
