I just had a flashback to my go-cart wreck, when I did the same thing to my upper tib/fib. It hurt like a sonufabitch, but what was worse was the sight of it. Sent me into shock.

It's like everything just ceased to exist at that moment. I truly believe that I had an out-of-body experience...I had to leave my body because I couldn't deal with the pain.

My weimaraner stayed close to me and kept me from going into utter and complete shock--stayed with me until the rescue team arrived. I broke my leg on the back side of our 40 acres, in a creek deep in the forest.

Scariest thing that ever happened to me. :-(
