Just watched the Kirby Puckett memorial service.
It was great. Respectful, dignified, yet with laughs and good cheer. Quite befitting the legacy of the man being honored.

Those who also saw it, I'd be eager to get your thoughts.

1. I didn't see it, we don't have cable tv and seldom turn the tv on
but I cried like a baby when I heard he passed away.

RIP Kirby!

I hope he's running bases and catching balls where ever he is, and that his eyesight is 20/20
a truly great human being!

2. I thought it was very fitting
I was planning on going, but I do not handle crowds well, and we are getting a lot of snow, so I did not want to deal with both weather and crowds.

I loved Cal Ripken's story!

3. Hi KW!
I was hoping to go, too, but we're about 90 minutes away up here in Mora. Sucks that snow should be a deterrant from attending this, but that's Minnesota.

I liked Ripken's story too. I got kind of tearful when TK was talking.

4. I did really well until they played that "Hero" song at the end
I totally lost it then.

5. I also watched it, it was very, very good
I had KSTC 45 on, and when they ended early WFTC 29 carried the last part of it.

It will be replayed at midnight on KMSP 9, WCCO 4, and 1:30am on KARE 11.

KARE 11 has it archived on their web site already.

6. I TiVo'd the channel 45 one, but they started at 6:55 so I did not get
the beginning portion. I am TiVoing the KARE 11 one.
