Is this a prank, a virus or a scam?
I keep getting pop-up warnings saying I have a security breach by a
Black worm virus. I should run their "WinAnti Virus Pro 2006 and they need access to the Internet. I don't know if this is for real and a serious problem or if WinAnti Virus Pro 2006 is just trying to sell me their program or if someone is trying to access my computer. It's very annoying and pops up many times and is difficult to get rid of. It's been happening for a couple days now. At first I just ignored them...now I'm getting scared I have a serious problem and they keep trying to warn me.

I have McAfee and they say they don't recognize that application and want to know if they should allow access. Neither do I!!!!

Has anyone else had an experience like this?

1. It's adware
meaning, they are using a vulnerability on your computer to hawk their product, which likely doesn't work anyway. Don't allow it access, and you may want to disable Windows Messenger Service (which is what the adware is using to plague you with pop-ups)
