i love a good thriller but all of the zombie movies i've even seen i did not like. i went on a first date with a guy to see "resident evil." after we left, he raved and raved about how good the movie was.

needless to say, i didn't call him back.

6. well the fact that he was a republican didn't really help him
of course he was only a republican because of his parents. he wasn't really into politics so i don't think it would have been different had we gone to see another movie.

i tell you though, "Resident Evil" isn't the worst date movie I've ever been to. I went on a second date with a guy to see "Ultra Violet" a few weeks ago, and decided 2 dates was enough.

11. No. I LOVE 5th Element. I just don't like zombie/vampire movies.
i'm not much of a chick/flick fan either. i like thillers, dramas(not sappy dramas), action, and anything political.

7. Shawn of the Dead.
My favorite was the original Night of the Living Dead, which I saw when I was like 10 and loved it, but when Shawn came out, that took the top spot.

12. I don't consider 28 Days Later a zombie movie, but I voted for it...
Since it was there. Out of REAL zombie movies, I'd have to say Shaun of the Dead.

The reason 28 Days Later is not a zombie movie is that zombies are undead ("resurrected,"
I guess) soulless bodies. In 28 Days Later they are just infected people. Not undead.

18. Maybe somebody can help me with this
I've long since forgotten the title, but it was a subtle spoof of zombie movies made by — I think it was the film department at the University of Tennessee. Must've been about 25 years ago; I saw it on the old USA Night Flight.

Anybody got any ideas?

23. Yeah, but I just read at IMDB
that they re-edited it and fucked it up with a '90s soundtrack.

Could still be worth it, though. I'll look on eBay first. Might even find the original there.
