18. Hi!!
I've been working hard and moved out to the country this past week. This weekend was spent working at a friend's shop and dealing with some drama in my daughter's life. :(

I'm tired of take-out and frozen dinners. I can't wait for the barbeque!

My youngest cat Gracie is not adjusting well. She cries most every night. My left wrist was sprained about a month ago and isn't healing because I had to pack and lift boxes. The unpacking is a bit overwhelming at the moment, so I think I'll go out back, find a lawn chair and read. Denial is a terrific place to be!

Hope you and MrG find your place in the country!

and then I'll make a couple of pasta based ones, and a couple of slaws. Daughter #1 can be lured by my broccoli slaw. Do you want the pasta one with the curly pasta and chunks of cheddar? I could do one of those too. and an egg salad, and one with tomatoes and fresh mozarella. and some deviled eggs.

The crab meat dip is served hot, it is made in a white cream sauce with light cajun spices. :9

I often stuff mushroom caps with it and broil them after sprinkling with parmasean cheese.

The shrimp dip is cold, made with cream cheese.

And I love spinach dip, I could make a sandwich with spinach dip! :pals:

A DU picnic. I know someone's already bringing beer and brats, but we've got some very nice beer we make here in Wisconsin and also we're the brat capital of the world. So if you don't mind, I'll bring some of both. I'll be marinating the brats in some beer while driving over there.
