I used to throw my long stringy hair into a braid, but that sort of braid is a temporary affair.

I had partial braids put in on my vacation. Everyone else was getting them so I did. :shrug: I always wanted to try it. It hurt horribly and I lasted three days.

15. I get my hair dyed blonde

and it burns! Every time I get my roots touched up I tell my husband, "I'm going to get my I.Q. lowered today."

Since I've been getting my hair lightened, I've become even more aware of the death grip blondeness has on the American psyche. I'm considering chopping it all off and going back to my normal shade of mouse brown.
