identify this flower -- see three new kitten shots -- and an old photo of
yours truly that i just found

flower: my MIL said it's trumpet honeysuckle, but it doesn't look exactly like photos of trumpet honeysuckle that i've found:

Alice's Honeysuckle:

Ringtail's new kittens. There are five: one black and four tabbies -- two torties, one sandy, and one gray:

(photo above -- taken from reflection in (double-glazed) sun room door)

And the old photo of yours truly -- I'm guessing it's 24 years old:

5. Yeah, that makes more sense looking at the picture
of the bleeding hearts. But I've never seen honeysuckle like that. Pretty.

2. My dear Bertha!
Wow, what an assortment of pictures!

I love the flower, and have NO idea what it is! But it's beautiful...

And the kitties! How lucky they are to be growing up in your home.....

I love the intense look of concentration on your face while juggling!

I could NOT juggle even if my life depended on it!

Thanks for sharing this diverse bunch of pics!

:loveya:

Can you tell?

In the juggling photo i'm just looking nowhere. i can't look at the objects i'm juggling; i guess i see them all peripherally. (hint: it's also how i beat the crap out of everyone else at "whack-a-mole" at chuck e. cheese . . . ;))

I love it!

I still can't tell for sure, but it sounds like the poster below is far more educated in this area than I, so I shall defer.

14. Oh, I can cook, too!
on top of the rest
my seafood's the best in town
and I can cook, too
my fish can't be beat
my sugar's the sweetest around
i'm a man's ideal of a perfect meal
right down to the demitasse (a cuppa java!)
i'm a pot of joy for a hungry boy
baby, i'm cookin' with gas
oh, I'm a gumdrop, a sweet lollipop
a brook trout right out of the brook,
and what's more, baby, i can cook!

from "On the Town" - one of my favorites Broadway tunes

:hi:

You're cute, O.R.

13. It is a honeysuckle
a cultivar of Lonicera caprifolium, but which one is hard to say. There are quite a few of them, and they not only tend to look alike, their names are rather confused. Try googling Lonicera and see what you come up with.

The kitten is cute, BTW
