You can choose to put the town/city or a more expansive place like county.

33. It's a hard place to leave.
I can understand why you miss it! There's nothing like the feeling when the landing gear hits the runway at SFO. :)

Development is running amok these days, the entire Church & Market; Duboce Triangle; Castro and Noe Valley areas are experiencing more growth. The last little unclaimed lots have been carved out of the hillsides and replaced with 4 - 5 story condos. A new development was just completed near Church & Market and a 2-bdrm lists at 1.2 million (!). How freakin' crazy is that?

There's a part of me that believes life in a smaller town in the midwest could be good. I'd like to find an old bungalow on a corner lot and restore it.

Six of one, half dozen of another... :hi:

A bizarre town, perhaps due to it's relatively large size in area. We get an obscenely sprawling mall, a dying military base, but lots of woods.

The Station Agent was filmed here. Even though it allegedly takes place in Newfoundland, NJ, most of it was filmed in my town.

The city itself is not that great, but there are pockets that are safe. We live in the southwest corner. There aren't a lot of houses on the street where we are and we get along great with all of our neighbors. It's actually kind of quiet. But I have friends who live more in the center of town and they say they hear gunshots and see drug deals on a regular basis.
