Well, probably......

I just got home from my ductogram and follow-up ultrasound.....

The radiologist thinks that the chances are 99% that my little problem is benign....

She said that what I have is most likely a papilloma....and those are benign!

Soon, I will have a needle biopsy, and then an out-patient surgery to remove the offending cells......

Rejoice with me today!

215. Great news, I would like to share with you a personnel experience

I have gone thru the past few months. Early detection is the key. My mom was diagnosed with breast cancer 6/15/06. She is 78 years old, but she has a mammogram every year. This year the doctors wanted to further test the "dark images" on the x-rays. They took a biopsy and found cancer.

She is scheduled for surgery 6/29 but her prognosis is great, in fact they think they may have taken it all out during the biopsy but want to make sure and check the leump (sp) nodes. The point is get checked at least once a year. My wife of over 20 years won't follow this advice, we have 2 grown kids and it honestly pisses me off she won't take this precaution. Just wanted to vent

I do get a mammogram every year.....this did not show up on it...

It all started as a stain on my nightgown....

I followed up on it when it happened more than once!

I'm sorry about your wife....some people are too scared to undergo these mammograms....

They think it might hurt (sometimes they do), or that something might be found......

Of course, that is the whole point of having them...

Try not to be angry with her.....

Patience works wonders....as does education!

Congratulations my very dear friend on good news. These things are very scary. I recently discovered a swelling in my groin and feared the worst. It turned out to be just fluid, and can be drained pretty easily (scheduled for July 5th), but you can't help but worry.
