2. Oh... I will be going.
It is just wishful cancelling.

For thirty years I had cavity free teeth. The last six years have been cruddy.

They don't have a sofa, but they DO have those new fangled comfy chairs. :)

14. Everyone has someplace they really, really don't want to go.
For me it's physical therapy.

We go anyway, but we bring someone to tell us it's going to be okay. :)

11. Of course, sweetie.
I asked my endodontist, "Does it hurt as much as unmedicated childbirth?" He replied, "What, are you kidding?" I was fine after that.

I do recommend that endodontists install flat screen TVs on the ceiling and give you a headset and a remote. It would do wonders for patient cooperation.

15. Yes it would. This is root canal number 4. New endodontist
I think of the last one as the Butcher of Roseville.

BTW, you are a babely Babe. :hi:

12. entodontists are actually nice!
they have gentler skills than your regular dentist. And better root canal technique.

at least that has been my experience. :hi:

18. The last endo I went to was a butcher who told me the pain I was
feeling was "all in my head"... so I'm going to a new one today. Same area, different tooth. :hi: tigereye! How have you been?

21. not too bad
kid is at his grandparents, so Mr. and I got to have dinner out (after 9!) last night. I've worked a bit more than planned this summer, but overall it hasn't been too bad. We went to Ohio for a few days and saw a lot of farms and Amish folk. The summer has gone quickly though.

How are you?

23. It has gone quickly.
Things are good here. Work is slow, but it's allowed me to spend more time with the kids, which is a positive... most days. ;)

I'm glad you were able to spend some time with Mrt.

27. Ask for extra novocaine when they go deeper. They can always stop and
give you another shot of novocaine. I have had up to 5 shots at one visit. At the slightest feeling of pain, raise your hand and they will stop. After the first shot, additional shots will be painless. There should be no reason for you to feel any pain whatsoever. (Before the first shot, they should use numbing gel on your gums to make the first shot painless. If they don't have that gel, you shouldn't be going to that dentist.) A root canal takes a while, they have to take a couple of breaks during it. You'll probably be sitting in the chair for 1 hour.
