Here is me taken last weekend after a nasty fall in the shower:



And this one I took about 5 minutes ago. As you can see, the gash in my forehead has healed nicely. Aloe vera gel did the trick!

I actually had to go to see a doctor the day after it happened because I awoke on Sunday morning with a ringing in my ears, a throbbing headache, and double vision. She took me into a small room and asked me a bunch of questions like "What year is it? When is your birthday?, Who is the prime minister of Canada?" I answered all of the questions correctly and was diagnosed with a mild concussion. She cleaned it really well for me, prescribed some pain killers and sent me on my way.

Much better now.

...and just use normal terms like "girlfriend", "boyfriend", or "significant other". I think
by using the same terms as "straight" couples, it would force this country to get

...but I just can't get it out of my head that partner sounds ambiguous and doesn't seems to accurately
reflect the depth of the relationship. Husband or wife, when you hear them, carries the weight of spending
the rest of your life with someone. Partner just doesn't "hit" like husband or wife. I guess what I'm
saying is gay couples need their own word that immediately conveys the depth of the relationship. At least
more so than partner. But, since I'm not gay, and you're obviously happy with the term "partner", I guess
