Surprised I've never seen the movie "Silver City" discussed here either - though it's a few years old, so maybe there was discussion that I missed. But I just saw it recently, and was amazed at how closely and very intentionally it represents Dubya, KKKarl Rove, and their whole slimy power-grab and repression of the truth. The central figure is a wannabe-cowboy who can't quite sit comfortably on a horse and can't string a coherrent thought together, being presented as a "man of the people" by a machiavellian campaign manager and maneuvered by "rape the land" millionnaires - while on the other side, good people work to expose toxic cover-ups, and are blocked and threatened at every turn. I won't give away the ending, but the final scene is truly chilling. One can only hope that all lies would one day come to light in such a graphic manner.
