5. Is this thing pre-Katrina or did it make it through the hurricane? Seems
unlikely something that flimsy could survive and I'm stunned they would make restoring a piece of trash like that when people are living in ruins. :shrug:

Any idea if the phot is pre or post Katrina?

6. Post, I think.
the concrete has 2006 engraved in it, so I'm thinking they either rebuilt it or they built a total new one. it has little damage.

7. There's a "big chair" in Thomasville, NC, about 20 miles from where I am..
It's known as Chair City. The furniture industry is a staple in this area, although with imports, it has dropped off considerably.
