Second. You'll never guess what happened to me as I was biking to
work...
Riding through greenpoint, theres three construction worker looking like
jack asses sitting on a curb.
One looks at me and yells "Freak!..." and just as I am directly across
from him, passing him on my bike, "Homo
I laughed to myself and raise my middle finger as I rode off....
Whatever, right?... Nope.
So then..... I am riding along... and suddenly a car comes tearing up
the road, pulls up a ways in front of me, hazard lights on, and some
guy gets out of the car...
Some cyclists would only move a few feet out of the way of a person in
the middle of the street... I however, know they're all dumb asses, and
usually go to the complete other side of the road. Luckily I did
today...
As soon as I got near him, he charged at me and yells "You got a
problem, pussy!?" He then tried to grab me off my bike... I was a foot
away from him as he grabbed at the air near me, and only managed to get
out "Dude! Leave me the fuck alone!"...

I looked back and saw him running to his car... Then spent the next 5
minutes of my ride looking over my shoulder...

So anyways.. that was my morning comute, and I am still all shakey...

San Francisco when I lived there, believe it or not. I think people come into town because of it's notoriety looking for trouble in the known gay areas. I used to see places marked around town that said, "a queer was bashed here." I have seen a few homophobic incidents in NYC also.
