2. I hope so.
There's rather a lot I want to do before the iron curtain comes down and we're all sent to gitmo. (I ain't tellin' that tinfoil shit to the psych though; she'll think I'm a raving nutter...)

OTOH, most people have done everything I want out of life and far more so I'm obviously not that bright.

4. I don't tell my psych everything either.
Else I'd be in chains right now.

You don't have ALS, you don't have MS, you don't have cancer. I'll be thinking of you and you're going to be all right.

3. I have to get one of those every year to keep my job...
I've tried adjusting my level of tension to make it print out cool patterns (my goal in Feb is a picture of a swan), but so far, I'm not too good at it.

Hope the results are good news for you!

5. You sound like me
I make a game out of EVERYTHING. When I give blood, I try to fill my bag in under 4 minutes, for example.

I'm glad I'm not the only one. :hi:

7. By week's end, I should reckon.
I'm hoping it's all normal, or if there is a problem it's just beginning to start. There are some things going on my shrink has said are not related to anxiety. And given heart disease runs rampant in my family, I've no qualms having all this done anyway.

8. If there were any kind of serious problem, you'd be hospitalized by now.
So I would not worry too much.

10. Excellent.
As the problems have not been constant, I know I am not terribly worried. But it's good to get an early check and go from there, regardless.

My parents raised me for 18 good years and I'm all they've got. The least I can do is stay around for them.

15. Most assuredly. When my husband's echo showed CHF in
June, they hospitalized him immediately. He went on to have a quadruple bypass which was diagnosed with a cardiac catheterization.

The echo can show some very significant things like CHF, or A.Fib. or a weak ejection fraction.

12. I intend to be.
Hence getting the check. The doctor felt it was worthy of checking out, just to be safe.

As has been said, if something truly dire was going on, I'd be in hospital by now.

But if there's a problem that's just coming about, it is best to know about it now.

He thought prozac may have been a cause as well, but I've been off of that since Friday and the sweating has not abated. So it cannot be pegged to the drugs. Which is great, drugs are quite the magical cure-all excuse. One way or the other.

14. I hope for the best for you with the results
If something significant were found you'd know it by now. However, that does not rule out other possible early signs after review by the cardiologist.

Then, there's the treadmill stress test I took over 11 years ago. Passed okay. Two days later I dropped dead - literally. Fortunately everything turned out for the best, as you can see by my responding to your posting!

Please do take care of yourself - we need you in the Lounge.

:)

19. You must be fine.
They can take a quick look and tell if anything big's happening. I'm sure you'd know by now.
