Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince: It's not getting any easier.
Those last chapters kill me everytime I read it. I have gotten so attached to these fictional characters. It's weird, yes, and I feel a little silly for it, but I can't help it. Anyone else reread the book and still sobbing through the ending?

2. Yes, I found myself crying again...
at the ending upon rereading the book.

I so love the books -- I have reread the series I don't know how many times. Two of the books got me through some very nasty times -- I read POA while waiting for my Mom to get out of surgery to find out of she had ovarian cancer. That was one of the longest days of my life, and POA kept me occupied and happy instead of freaking out over what news I might be getting.

I just started book one again -- I cannot wait to see OOTP. Mugglenet had some new photos of the cast, and Imelda Staunton looks PERFECT as Umbridge!

13. I saw those...
It's going to be great...as long as people look at the movies as a different entity. It's not going to be the same, but I hear it's going to be GREAT!

3. Pretend Dumbledore was on welfare.
That should ease the pain.

6. I haven't reread
the HP series, and I knew what was going to happen at the end of HBP, so it was no big surprise for me. As for character attatchment, I feel that way with Glen Cooks Annals of the Black Company, RA Salvatores Drizzt line, and the Dark Tower series by S. King...

12. I think we were more upset when another pal of Harry's bought
it in the previous book.

I think I was more shocked than saddened. It didn't feel right to me, compared with some other events in the past books.

19. Everytime she has said something like that about the book...
She's been telling the truth. She's even apologized to a group who has a website called "he's" not dead because he really really is.

It felt really bad losing Dumbledore, but for me, not knowing all the circumstances involved lessened the impact. We'll know in book 7.
