Woo Hoo! Celebrate! Good news today!! WOO HOO!

Landlord came over today. I was my business and up front self, and probably a bit more than ususual persnickety because I have been fed up with it going on over two months now with NOTHING being done that was PROMISED to be done when I moved in. The guy finally looked at me and asked if I wanted out of the lease. WOO HOO! :woohoo: He said he would let me out of it with no repercussions financially, that he appreciates a picky renter because it can be a good thing, but obviously I'm not happy with this place.

I already have a place to move into, and will be doing so by the end of this month. I agreed to remain in this lease until Nov. 30, with giving my 30-day notice on Nov. 1, so he can get another renter. However, will be asking him that should he find another renter by that can move in Nov. 1 that he and I will be square, and I get my deposit back.

BTW--my neighbor doesn't know her ass from a hole in the ground. The landlord's mother did NOT die in this house. She died in a rest home.

Anyway...

Celebrate with me! (and this news won't affect the upcoming CA DU meetup.)
