Anyone ever see A BRONX TALE?
I saw it for the third time tonight... Wonderful movie - Just a well woven /well told story with excellent performances by Robert DeNiro and Chazz Palmintieri. Its about a young boy growing up and being influenced by two different forces - his hard working dad and the neighborhood mob boss. Recommended!

Nice coming of age love story, too. I have a feeling it was autobiographical, on Mr. Palmatieri's part?

6. Yes, he wrote it as a one person play...and it won all sorts of awards.
Chazz's full first name is Calogero too, like the young boy. Interestingly, it was also DeNiro's first directors role. (My wife loved it too!!). "Now you can't leave." - best line. Love the look on his face.

And I don't understand why it doesn't get any play. I think it's well-acted all around, and touching, and exciting, and all those things.
