Anyway, today my left shoulder is back to being the one that twinges on and off. The left shoulder is fucked, the right one is the "good" shoulder, so I get concerned when it hurts for no reason.

Looking around the diner at the other single people here and wondering if they are content with their lives. Trying to see how much I can gather about them from their actions, clothes and body language:

The thin older woman in the pink sweater with neatly pinned white hair sips her coffee at several-minute intervals and alternately gazes into space or looks out the window to her side, watching people passing by. Her blue eyes are kind, her expression soft and relaxed. She is deliberate in her actions and has good posture. Her skin is radiant and she has remarkably few wrinkles for her age. Though dressed casually she portrays a certain elegance. Even from across the room her presence is soothing.

The middle-aged woman in the striped short-sleeve top, with heavy black eye liner and big earings eats quickly and does not appear to be aware of her food as she eats it. Her elbows on the table are necessary to support her slouch. She is seated with her back to the wall, facing the big picture window and watches the people passing by outside. Her eyes dart about quickly and she does not keep her attention focused on one thing for more than a few seconds. Her expression is hard to capture in words, something of an anxious resignation. Now she quickly snatches up her gold-studded black leather purse. She is gone.

71. My son's upcoming wedding..in 2 weeks. So much to do with

the wedding and their moving into their house(and outa mine)..and yet there are some family members on DH's side being assholes. Big family rift was created years ago because of an estate and I just found out that one person wants to keep that rift going by attempting to coerce my son's cousins to not attend.

I wish my son would have done what his other cousin did with her wedding a few weeks ago and just not invite the troublemaker.

We'd long ago let the hurt and anger go..we even attended his kids weddings. Now we hear he's telling them not to come..Oh..and did I mention he did the same thing to my other son and that was before the estate problem. He even attempted to coerce my son's grandfather from coming to that wedding.
