2. Well, this is East Bumfuck's answer to a "lesbian club."
Hence, the flannel. Priyanka refers to the local selection of women, as "my flannel problem." This is one of the many reasons I need to move to Brooklyn next spring.

6. Okay, five hours then. I went to VA once and it felt like it took a...
BRAZILLION hours. However, I was in a minivan with a bunch of fundamentalist Christians. They played their Jesus stories on the car stereo; I was in the back with my discman blasting "secular" music. Then, I spent a week with them...

Never.Ever.Again.

8. Eh, don't worry about Dunkin Donuts lady.
Her job is to sell you coffee & donuts, not to judge you for being queer and Indian.

Yeah, I want out of NJ.

11. Definitely Brooklyn, Haruka.
But not Bensonhurst, where I live. It's kinda dead here. Williamsburg, Ft. Greene, places like that, you'd love. Park Slope, if you can afford it.

Queens is cool, too. Astoria, Jackson Heights, Woodside.

One problem is having a car in neighborhoods like this is very much a problem.

12. Well, the car thing isn't really a concern.
I can sell mine or leave it with the family. Even if I sold it, I always have accesss to an extra car.

13. Excellent.
If you can have access to a car, but not have to pay insurance and worry about parking, it's ideal.
