ALCS begins tonight! WOOHOO!!!!!!!
I think it'll go six or seven games, and I think my A's will take it. Regardless, it's going to be a GREAT series to watch--probably better than the actual world series will be. A's fans and Detroit fans--here we go!!

(we need a smilie that jumps up and down in excitement overload)

2. Tigers win....
A's just didn't bring their A game...lots of men left on base, and poor execution....I thought for sure at least two would score, when there was a runner at 3rd, and 2nd, with no outs...

3. It was a lot of fun to watch.
:hi: These two teams deserve to be where they are right now.

4. another A's loss...
a bit more hitting/scoring in this one...the A's just couldn't get anything going later...M. Bradley had a great night though...Chavez/Thomas were awfully quiet...and the Tigers were clutch again, and pulled out the victory 8-5, they lead the series 2-0, heading to Detroit...

5. Yes, it was.
:eyes:

For the record, in my exuberance for this series, I've said not one demeaning word about the Tigers or their fans--my comments have been exclusively excitement about my team. But please keep kicking this thread, by all means.

Yes, we're down 0-2 in the series. Maybe we'll totally choke and be out in four. I have no idea. But I'm still glad the A's are playing, and will continue watching and cheering for them as long as I can.

6. Shakespeare, I love your attitude.
I wish more people looked at sports that way.

Kudos!

7. The A's are damned spunky
even if momentum has been a problem last coupla nights.

And I definitely agree with post#6 above

:hi:
