Let me eat CAKE!
I really want a piece of cake or pie or something...but I don't have anything like that in the house (unless you count whole wheat bread.)

Please suggest substitutes.

7. You can put icing on anything...
Confectioners sugar icing would work on toast (I think), but I prefer to just scoop it up with my fingers...

2. I like brownies with vanilla ice cream...
I doubt you have that. I don't either. Now we can both suffer. Toast with lots of butter is good.

6. I tried to buy a pumpin pie the other day
but the store was out of them.

Grocery store cake is kind of crappy. Bake? That's funny.

O.K. At this point, you can make hoe cakes. Do you have a source of water and fire?

Or glue, did you like to eat paste when you were little?

22. Hoe cakes?
I have water and eggs, and oil. I might even have some pancake mix. My electric bill has been paid, so I can cook...but I'd rather cheer on someone else as they cooked. :D

24. Corn or flour cakes cooked on a hoe over an open fire...
it's a native American/colonial American thing.

I DO need to come over. I'm about to make homemade thin-crust cheese pizza. Spinning the dough around is much more fun when it is interactive.
