I have light! I have heat! I have a computer again!

I'LL HAVE COFFEE TOMORROW MORNING!

My little section of Western NY is back in the civilized world again after four days in the short side of the 19th century.

Did I miss anything?

2. Since Friday morning.

The lights are still out across the street, and a lot of places are just getting water back today.

Almost like being in Baghdad.

3. I was without power for 11 days

in 1994. No water for 3 days. Lelapin was in first grade. It was miserable and I felt like a refugee. Standing in line for an hour for 1/2 gallon allotment of kerosene. Seeing the National Guard truck in potable water. Seeing the entire city of 11,000 people completely dark.

I hope the power comes on soon for your neighbors too.
