So I was taking some pics of stuff to sell on Ebay...

I bought a bunch of silverplated dishes at an estate sale a few weeks ago, and I was taking pictures of them to list on Ebay when I realized there was no way to convey the size of these things. I don't know where my tape measure is, so I figured it might be a good idea to take their pictures with some piece of food for scale. Food goes with dishes, right? I had an apple lying around, so I decided to use that (we all know about how big an apple is, and it's non-messy and self-contained, and pretty-loking).

I had everything laid out, ready for the big shoot, and then my digital camera ran out of batteries. I walked into the bathroom to get batteries out of the charger, and look what I found when I got back!





So now some of the Ebay postings I make will just have to show an apple with a "bite" out of it...

2. Just out of curiosity....

does your bird, you know, use a litter box or such? Since it roams free?
I always wondered that when you post pictures of him/her wandering free causing trouble.

5. I can usually catch him in time to get him to go on a puppy pad

He will also go when told, "Go potty!" and I can take him outside and have him do that.

For the occasional accident, there is a product called Poop-Off that works wonders.

And when we're out, or in the car, he'll say "Potty!" when he needs to go.
