Question about AA batteries.

If I put 2 fresh batteries and one somewhat used one into a flashlight will the charges kind of even out?
Just wondered.

1. The charges will not become the same.

They'll get a bit closer, but for the life of me I can't remember the chemistry of a AA battery.

If it's one of them dry-cells then it will work until the partly-used one gives up.

If it's one of those lachlanché cells then it will give up kinda quick. You won't be able to maintain the voltage. But it will die very slowly, so you'll have a low flashlight for a while.
