I need help with rules (mod input appreciated)

I wrote a story I would like to share with my fellow DUers, but I have a concern.

I was listening to the radio here in the NW last week and a discussion was started over reports that some schools are now starting to teach their students to fight armed school invaders. I was so moved by the discussion that I whipped out a 20 page (manuscript, so double spaced) story about a high-school that takes it to the next step and actually has an armed response team of students who are there to protect the school from just that.

I want to post a link to it in GD and get some opinions about the subject matter from others out there in the world, but the story has a love scene in it that, while I would describe it as erotic, might be considered by some as pornographic. It is only about half a page of the whole story, but I don't want to get in trouble here for posting a link to something that could be construed as inappropriate to this community.

Help me out here guys: will I be OK to post a link to it, should I refrain, or should I go straight to a mod/admin and ask them directly?

I like to spread my writing around my workplace (600+ employees, its like a built in fan base) and reaction to this story has been SEVERE. I'm anxious to find out what people who don't know me think.

in re the post you linked: Man do they have the wrong idea IMHO. You can't do something like this half assed. Whole assed or not at all. I have opinions about what they are trying to do, but really, I'll save them for the discussion I know this story is going to generate.

I read them and while I feel this is not something that is specifically prohibited by the rules, I just want to be sure.

Especially considering the nature of the story without the love scene. Its going to set off some emotion (I know because people within arms reach of me have read it and all have had strong emotional reactions).

I went ahead and messaged skinner. I think, ultimately, I will be safe since I am posting it as a link and will warn those who care to read what to expect in the post.

6. If I was in your shoes, I'd PM either a couple of mods or go to

Skinner directly through a PM and ask him if it would be ok. And if not, what could be done to make it ok, if at all. That's the best bet, IMHO.

After two warnings for advocating violent revolution (its not nearly as bad as it sounds, I was answering a question hypothetically and got out of hand) I don't want to get kicked for inappropriate behavior or links.
