Also well on my way to being numb, so hit me with your best shot. I won't feel it.

:woohoo:

Yay me!

when I know it isn't true.

3. Oh well
I thought for a second that I was something special, but then I suddenly remembered that, no, I was not. I had just forgotten.

But there is always Shiraz. All hail Shiraz! (ok that may be beer, but you get my drift) :bounce:

8. Okay, that actually brought tears to my eyes,
and I haven't yet poured that drink. I'm right there with you, sweetie, except you're wrong! Whatever/whoever has you feeling that way can go to hell. IMHO.

15. Oh no no no no
It is true. It was just that I had forgotten. No one else is to blame.

25. Are you me?
I'm to blame too. Also somebody else, but he has been rewarded rather than punished. The irony is beyond painful and into funny.

32. Eh
I hold no one else responsible for my own stupidity. I'm sure our situations are completely different. Except that we are both feeling rotten.

Well, no only when asked to. Unfortunately I'm evidentally horrid when naked. Go figure. Makes the men run screaming...no it's true.

12. Then you have a painfully ironic screen name
Thanks for toying with us :( (I kid!)

Ah well, on the internets the most beautiful of people can become the lowliest slime, and those whose appearance would not hazard a second glance can display indescribable beauty. Besides, after a while, none of us look good naked. :)

:silly:

17. Too true
And letting yourself be naked (not only in physical form) is always a difficult thing to do. Most of the time you just get hurt.

I don't think my screen name is ironic at all actually.

:)

31. You are correct,
Irony was not the right choice of word. I am really off my game tonight.

Again, with regards to nakedness and the internet, I find it easier here to be my naked self than just about anywhere. I am typically the type of person who could care less what others think of me, but can still be reserved in some ways out IRL (as they say).

But in cyberspace the walls come down and I let the bare flesh of my inner self come out. Fortunately that inner self tends to be me with more flirting, less tolerance for bullshit, and the ability (usually) to find the exact words I'm looking for before I say something.

Some people use the net as a place to hide themselves from others and be someone they are not. Not me though, when I'm here I like to be naked (though I am at work, so naked in the figurative sense. Once I get to my home terminal I can be naked in the literal sense)

:) :) :)

35. Yes
As a social leper, I've let the net become my place to be myself. Maybe I should stop that. Though, I have met some of the most important people in my life online, so I guess not. I don't know. Today is just not such a good day for me to think about these things.

Thanks for being "naked" with me. hehe.

10. Originally because
I love animals so much. My mom tried to become vegetarian when we were growing up, but we were all resistent at the time. Then in 1994 she decided to try it again, and so did I. Since then, I've learned so much (and it's become so much easier). My children have also been vegetarian since birth (with a few experimental exceptions now that they are getting older.)

Failure sucks, but you can't wallow in it - ya just gotta learn what you can from it and move on.
