how the eff do you spell that!?
im tired of microsoft word's stupidity so im trying to spell forgen(mispelled on purpose here) and i look at the suggested words not one of them end with a friggen N even! for god sakes you would think there is a reason of putting an "EN" at the end of a word... so it comes down to "foreign" after several attempts to mis spell it in different ways to find the proper suggestion, is this right even? looks odd(in context im trying to spell foreign policy)

1. Yes, that is correct
And I agree - spell check is often a waste of time. Besides, I think a lot of people end up depending on it and don't even try to spell correctly on their own.

("Their" - that's a good example right there. As is "right." Three ways to spell it - their, there, they're as well as right, rite and wright)

3. Actually, I've learned how to spell better with s/c.
After you get corrected enough times, you learn to spell the word correctly.
It takes less time.

2. I used to have trouble with that one. Finally learned it. Now if I
could get occassion.
Except NOW I have Firefox 2.0 with ONLINE-INLINE spellchecker.
It underlined occassion in red.
Hooray!
Occasion.
2 Cs, 1 S.
Maybe I'll learn that too?
;-)

5. You're better off using an online dictionary.
Spellcheck can subject you to some really embarassing spelling misteaks.
